Reading Form Boxes, Confidence and Odds on Every Match Row
Every match row shows recent form, our tip, the confidence rating and the best available odds. This guide explains what each part means.

Every match row on EkeTips packs a lot of information into one line. Once you know how to read it, you can judge a pick in seconds instead of minutes.
The form boxes
The five coloured boxes under each team are the last five league results, oldest on the left and newest on the right.
- W (green): a win
- D (grey): a draw
- L (red): a loss
Look at the direction, not just the count. LLWWW is a team getting better; WWWLL is a team that is cooling off, even though both have three wins.
The tip pill
The green pill is the market we recommend. Double chance tips (1X or X2) cover two of the three outcomes, so they win more often at lower odds. Straight wins (1 or 2) pay more but carry more risk.
| Tip | Wins if | Typical odds |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Home team wins | 1.50 to 2.50 |
| 1X | Home win or draw | 1.15 to 1.50 |
| X2 | Away win or draw | 1.20 to 1.60 |
| 2 | Away team wins | 1.70 to 3.50 |
The confidence meter
Confidence blends the model's win probabilities with an overall team comparison covering form, attack, defence, goals and head to head. Above 75% is a strong signal. Between 60% and 75% is playable in accumulators. Below 60% is information, not a bet.
High confidence with low odds belongs in a rollover. Medium confidence with fair odds belongs in a 2 or 3 odds slip.
